October 24th, 2005 - SAVVIS added to the BGP4 Mix.
In addition to nLayer and PEER1, Netelligent Networks now has a direct uplink to SAVVIS through their Manhattan-NYC POP. In
our aim to increase redundancy, our BGP4 sessions will pass you through the best available route, thus guaranteeing
performance. If any single uplink fails or drops, you are automatically rerouted through an alternate uplink without any
interruption of service. Stay tuned for future expansion announcements.
September 12th, 2005 - Netelligent Networks is now multi-homed!
Netelligent Networks announced today that it completed its network expansion and now offers multi-homed bandwidth. At the same
time, nLayer was added as a major transit provider to the existing BGP4 Mix. Through its BGP4 network, Netelligent Networks
offers a unique alternative for companies in need of hosting on a high quality network and who do not want to be
provider-dependent. In addition to offering this quality of service and an additional level of redundancy, Netelligent
Networks is able to provide this bandwidth almost anywhere in Eastern Canada via our Metro-Ethernet services. All Netelligent
Networks customers are able to take advantage of our new BGP4 Network.
May 3rd, 2005 - Netelligent Networks completes Data centre move.
The first step in realizing the Netelligent Networks project was to find a reliable partner that would compliment us in
providing the level of service our clients have come to expect from us. Netelligent chose to make
CANIX's neutral colocation facility in Montreal it's new home and in mid-April
began our move of over 300 servers which was completed on May 1st, 2005.
